Mindblind and Christi’s oldest son has reached ‘that age’ and they know they have to take steps before an unexpected and illegitimate child complicates matters.
Being who they are, their solution isn’t surprising.

With the assassin’s nest cleaned out, there’s a moment or three to relax, even though the identity of the Lakeshore Man is still a mystery. Raven has a moment of weakness, and it’s up to Mindblind and Kayleen to help her through it. Then, ill news sends the ragtag band fleeing from Foxwood.

Chapter 09 of Lowborn is in the queue on schedule. “Breakin’ in the Boy” is ready to post here on the Shorts page as well. Just waiting for the proper chapter of Lowborn to post ( Ch. 08 ) and I’ll release it.
Work continues on other stories, though I’ve been mostly wrapping up a couple of tales as RejectReality this weekend, after a long, tiring week at work.
Chapter 8 of Lowborn is queued up, right on schedule. Nine will go in on Sunday, and then the final chapter will go in the queue on Thursday.
That should put the last three chapters posting on ( approximately ) the 25th, 28th, and July 2nd.
It’s been a pretty rough week at work, so I haven’t really gotten much done on anything, otherwise. A few lines here and there on stories, but nothing worth reporting.
Hoping to get some work done this weekend ( though a lot of that is probably going to end up being dedicated to two nearly complete stories as RR ) and looking forward to my vacation the first week of July. If nothing else, I’ll get some rest that week, which should help me recover from this rough patch at work.
