Just wanted to drop a quick thank you to the readers at Lit for supporting me in in the contest ( even though I’m not eligible to win again until Valentine’s ).
Over 30,000 views and 300 votes on Center Piece with a score of 4.65, which exceeds my expectations and far exceeds the averages for the category.
Got to work on “His Christmas Wish” today, and the new Laresa story is moving nicely.
I just finished putting one protagonist in place, and the second will be along any moment. A few paragraphs will put them both where they need to be for the story to unfold.
With three more days off ahead of me — one of which will be full quiet time with the young one off at his grandparents — I should be able to make nice progress.
Decided not to wait a couple of days, as I usually do, before posting the new story to SOL. I may make that a pattern when the new Laresa story is finished as well. Since it’s self-contained, I’ll probably post it there.
