I’m now on Facebook and Twitter, if you’d like to get updates about my work there.
Adding those widgets to the front page was an incredible pain in the ass! You’d think that websites as big as we’re dealing with here would generate code that validates properly, but no! I had to go through both scripts and modify them to get the page to validate.
What a pain in the ass.
But, it’s working now and validating strict, just like everything else on the website.
Like/Follow to your heart’s content. Retweet, link to my website on your own FB or Twitter. Etc., Etc. Every link back to the website brings more eyes to my work, which results in more feedback, which results in boosting my ever unreliable muse and motivation to get that next story out 🙂
I’ll likely be integrating other facebook and twitter elements into other parts of the site as time goes on, and as I mentioned in an earlier post, there will probably be some special benefits for people who give me the thumbs-up with some type of a link/like/follow etc.
