Three in a day?

Didn’t feel like editing the previous post, and the one before that was really the previous day.  It was just after midnight.  The next day doesn’t start until I go to bed and get back up again.

Anyway, I’m working on the “About” pages.  I started some of the text on the blank pages, added some pics to the inspiration page to test the code and layout, and added in four more “ancient” stories to the Writing Genesis section.  There are still ten of those left to add, although one of them is a pretty short opening that never went anywhere.

Eventually, I’ll get to a point where I’ll need to wade into the labyrinth of the back bedroom to dig up my old D&D stuff that’s boxed up back there to scan, or take new pics, which also involves getting backdrops from the back bedroom.  Odds are that is when I’ll start coding on the LST3K stuff until the weather improves.  It’s cold as hell in the back bedroom.

By the time I’m done with “About” and the static parts of “LST3K”, I’ll have all the things I need to start coding the “My Worlds” page on the quick.  I’ll have already figured out everything I need to know, so I won’t have to experiment with new stuff, but rather just build the utilities from functioning examples, build the pages from existing layouts, and slap in data.

That’s when the content on the website will take a major jump.  Any time I have a few spare minutes, I can add four or five new characters, or a map, or a document… whatever.  Odds are that once those sections launch, there will be new stuff each and every day appearing on the website.

Okay, off to read through the ARS chain so I can get it sent to Red, and then to Roust.  After that, I’m going to get back to writing on something.  Just haven’t decided which story yet.

ARS 19 first draft done

Just finished the first draft of the replacement chapter for A Royal Sacrifice Ch. 19.

I’m going to read back through the entire chain today ( including Red’s new chapters – the second of which should post soon ) and make sure we didn’t miss anything important.  Then, I’ll send it off to Red for her thoughts.

Once that’s done, I’ll do my edit, and get it off to Roust for editing.

Chalk up another mark on the productivity meter 🙂

SOTM in Roust’s hands

I just sent SOTM Ch. 18 off to Roust for editing.  Moving along right on schedule.  If everything keeps going this way, it should be out by Thursday or Friday next week.

I’m also nearly done with the final replacement chapter for the A Royal Sacrifice chain.  Only one scene left.

After that, it’s full steam ahead on SOTM 19, Sanctuary of the Wood, and possibly Lowborn.  There is always the possibility I’ll write something for the Valentine’s Day contest, but I’m still giving priority to my ongoing storylines, and getting Lowborn started posting.

Ch. 18 almost ready for editing

Finished my read and tweaking phase of editing SOTM 18.  I just need to run it through a spell and grammar check before it’s ready to send off for editing.

Close to finishing ARS 19 as well.

Getting closer to getting the next chapter out to everybody who’s been waiting too long.

ARS 19 and SOTM 18

I only have a couple of scenes left to write in the replacement chapter for A Royal Sacrifice 19, which will make the story complete on Lit again for the first time since an author left the site.  I should have it done by the weekend, then it will go into the review process.

Red’s next replacement chapter will probably be out in two or three days, and I’ll post a link here when it goes live.

I’ll be starting on my read and edit of SOTM 18 in a couple of minutes.  That should put it on schedule for a Saturday submission, keeping it in range for a Thursday-Friday release next week ( assuming Lit’s current submission turnaround )

I put everything on hold to get ARS 19 done, but that won’t be for much longer, and I’ve still been writing a line or two here and there on SOTM 19 and Sanctuary along the way.
