Well, I ended up in the ER Sunday, so I didn’t get to finish the chapter. Then work has been a nightmare ever since. I’ll just have to see if I can squeeze in a little writing time before the weekend. If not, I’ll pick up where I left off then.
Right now, I need sleep. Oh well. I guess I did need to put back a little money to fix the heat in my car, so the hours will be worth it when that time rolls around.
I’m at about the halfway point of SOTM 17, and I’ll be moving on to the next scene after this little break.
Things are going pretty good, and the new direction I’m contemplating for how the books are going to progress seems to be giving me motivation. I think I’d sort of boxed myself in with the original plan, and opening my mind to some flexibility is tearing down those walls.
Think I’m going to have to put in a trouble ticket for those internal server errors that keep popping up. It had calmed down for a while, and I thought that perhaps upgrading to the new WordPress had fixed it, but no such luck. It’s getting bad again, and it’s ridiculous. I’m paying for service here, and the server is throwing errors all the time. Time to be a complainer :p
Okay, off to my little break, and then back to the chapter. I’d like to be almost done with it before the day’s overwith, and the scenes I’m working on might just get me there 😀
Finally got my custom blog header and buttons back on the blog after updating to the new WordPress and theme. I’m just glad that it didn’t take me as long to remember how to do it as it took to figure out how to do it in the first place *laugh*
That’s the main thing that’s keeping me from really getting the website back online. After so long away from it, PHP is intimidating. If I can just get my act together and code one lousy original page, I’d probably be on enough of a roll to get something going, but I can’t seem to find that place just yet.
Anyhow, off to write a little.
Wrote a little on SOTM 17 this morning. The scene has been playing out in my head for a while, and it’s finally coming out on paper.
Other things have been flitting around as well… I may be changing the direction of how this part of the story ends. I’m not really changing any outcomes, just the point at which SOTM is going to end. Some things may get moved to the third book of the trilogy. The more I think about it, the more sense it makes.

I really need to get all my mods back into this blog *laugh* I’ve been lazy. I’ll try to get that together tomorrow.
Well, my internet has been down for the last day or so. Spent way too much of that time on the phone with barely understandable people in India or somewhere going through troubleshooting B.S. that I’d already done before they finally transferred me to the “2nd level” in the states. A few minutes of conversation that I could actually understand, and they tracked down the problem to their local hub.
Been musing, and I’m going to give a shot and writing some of it here in a little bit.
