SOTM Ch. 13 is live at Lit. Nice quick turnaround, but they surprised me by posting it later in the day. Thus, I’m only now getting it into the queue at SOL. It should be up before long, though.

I just put SOTM 13 in the queue at Lit.  As soon as it posts, I’ll get it up at SOL as well.  Lit has been moving my stuff through the queue at a rapid pace lately, so it could come out in as few as four days.  The edits for 10-12 I put in posted in only 24 hours.

Ch. 13 of SOTM is off for editing.  I’ll drop a line here when I get it back and put it in the queue at Lit.  Work continues on Ch. 14 and Ch. 03 of Merchant Princess.

I’ve been shying away from explaining what’s going on in my life, but I think it’s about time.

When I started writing Danica’s story so long ago, I was writing it for one set of eyes only. Those lovely brown eyes were the inspiration for the story, and for Danica. She’s the lovely lass that adorns my webpages – the love of my life.

On the day that Ch. 12 of SOTM posted, I lost her. She passed in the night, and I hope and pray that her closed eyes means that she slipped away in her sleep, free of anxiety and pain.

I finally decided that I owed my readers a full explanation for the long delay since my last chapter posted, despite misgivings springing from both my self-contained means of grieving, and not wanting to look as though I was pleading for sympathy.

I hope that explains why it’s been so difficult to get back to writing, especially Danica’s story. I appreciate everyone who’s supported me through this – both those who knew, and those who could only guess.

My Babydoll lives on in our son, my thoughts, my words, and in Danica. She would have never wanted me to stop writing, and I won’t. I’ll keep sharing her with my readers through Danica.

Finished SOTM 13 last night. I’m letting it simmer now before cold-reading it and doing my first-pass edit. I’ve already written 500 words or so of Ch. 14, and that’s just a part of the first scene. I already have the first quarter or more of 14 fully formed in my head, so I hope it will flow quickly.

Merchant Princess 02 will come out at midnight tonight, so keep your eyes open for that. Once I finish this scene of SOTM 14, I’m going to jump back into Ch. 03 of MP for a while. Alicia has been nagging at me to get back to her *laugh*

May put an entry or two in the Nude Day contest. Waiting to see if the ideas I have coalesce.

Had a little snafu with Merchant Princess, but the first chapter is now out at Lit. The second chapter has an approval date for Monday.

Only a sex scene and a wrap-up left on SOTM13. If the thunderstorms will lemme alone, I should finish it today. At that point, I’ll jump back into the third chapter of MP so I can cold read the chapter in a day or so. I’m aiming to have that chapter ready to submit before the weekend next week.
