Merchant Princess 03 is up at Lit, and 04 will come out at midnight.

Yes, it’s the same date as the entry below =P

I managed to get my act together and put Ch. 03 of MP into the queue at SOL and Lit.  I just got back the first edit of 04 from Roust, so it should be ready to go in the queue tomorrow.  I’m working on 05 in the other window while I’m still awake enough.

*sigh*  Another month with only one update.

I finished MP 04, but now Thakkor and Alicia are telling me that there’s a chapter 05.  I’m working on that now, and I have 3 off to my editor.  As soon as I get it back, I’ll send off 04 and put 03 in the queues.

Still struggling with time, a bit with motivation, and a lot with lack of sleep.  I tend to close my eyes when I visualize, and I start nodding off now if I so much as blink hard.  Making it difficult to write.  Sometimes it works out, as I slip into a half-dream state when that happens, and it’s actually moved me past sticking points.  Most of the time, it just means that I sit here for five minutes on the verge of falling out of my chair =P

Old news off to the cache.<br><br>Finally!  I fought this chapter for what felt like forever.  I wrote reams of stuff that I liked, but it was just moving too slowly to keep pace with the previous chapters while getting all the info I wanted in there to advance the plot.  I finally found the magical formula, and chapter 03 of To Catch A Merchant Princess is done!

Here’s to hoping that chapter 04 will start rolling solid, because I’d like to wait until I finish it before putting out Ch. 03.

Still working on the next chapter of SOTM.  Besides the struggle with MP, I’m also struggling with my motivation.  There are some days where I just stare at the word processor, and I just don’t feel like writing anything.  The struggle to get this chapter together wasn’t helping, either.  When I’m fighting a plotline, it drags me down on everything else.

I’m still working, and I hope to get something out soon.  If MP 04 isn’t rolling along solidly by the end of the weekend, I’ll get the third chapter through editing and post it.
