Got back that story I finished recently from editing, and it’s ready to roll.  Almost done with my summer story in my third name as well.  Had an idea for another, but we’ll see what happens.

Working on Blessing and SOTM.  Still in bounce mode, so everything is moving forward, but nothing is leaping forward.

Still getting there, though.  Better than I’ve been doing for a while now :p

I’m bouncing around between three things right now:  Blessing, a summer story in my third name, and SOTM 18.  They’re all moving along, and it seems to be what’s working for the moment.  Every one of the stories is at a different sort of point, and my unpredictable muse seems to be able to latch on to at least one of them every time I come back from a decompression break.

About to hit some action in SOTM, which should be fun, and pump up the word count, bringing it closer to release.

May update this or add a post later, if there’s any major progress on any of the stories.

As I said earlier, I’m beginning to build some momentum.

Finished a story in my third name a few minutes ago, and finished some research for Blessing last night.  Ready to roll forward on it, at about 2k words right now.

Think I almost have the right cadence to move forward on both SOTM 18 and the final chapter of Lowborn as well.

Off to work on Blessing.

A little over a thousand words into Blessing.  I have Dara introduced, though I need to figure out somewhere to work in a couple of lines of important back story/motivation.  Dropped my male protagonist in, but I’m still trying to figure out his name *laugh*

Mused a lot on SOTM today.  Working my way through that transition.

That’s the working title of the next story.  It will star Dara ( Wade’s sister from Kindred of the Wood ) and be set once again in the BWCA.  I had a flash of inspiration at work and scribbled it all down during the day.  Think I have everything I need to make it work, so I’ll probably be starting on it some time today.

Working on a couple of stories in my third name ( one for the summer contest, which is when I plan to release Blessing ) and I have both Lowborn and SOTM 18 open as well.  Had a couple of ideas on the later during my musing as well.  In both cases, I’m trying to get through a transition to what I know comes afterward.  Transitions between major scenes cause me problems like that sometimes.

Actually had an idea for Halloween in the Wood universe.  Could be that Spirit of the Wood might come together for that contest.  It would feature Xannera from Secret of the Wood, and be the first to go in the Non-Human category since the original story in the series.

Things are starting to congeal.  Just a matter of how long it takes those sparks to come together and ignite another productive writing period.
