Between that catalyst I came up with, morphing Glen into less of a cocky lady-killer, and starting from word one, I think I finally have all the right elements to move Heart of the Wood along.
I’m working on it right now, and far more confident in the story than I have been since I started on it. Whew!
If anybody’s curious, here’s the existing family tree for the series. I built it in one of those free online sites to help me keep track of some things for quick reference, and made a quick screen cap of it.
Back to the tale =)
Edit a little later: From 0-2000 words already today, and I’m going back to it in a minute or two. Yep, I think this is going to work. You’ll have to excuse me a brief, “WOOT!” 😉
Well that’s good news. Seems the problem has been solved with some feedback as motivation. Glad to hear your muse has reported back for duty.
So am I *laugh* Have ideas to finish my Mindblind tale, “Lowborn” as well. That’s a six chapter story ( at least ) that will get my name out there on the new list on a regular basis for a while, in addition to the new SOTM chapters.
That could mean more feedback, which could keep me rolling.
I think I may finally have the storyline to write the sequel to Blackhawk Hall as well. Put that on top of the new Wood, plus a couple of ideas in my third pen name, and I might have some momentum going.
