{"id":2201,"date":"2012-09-09T23:41:16","date_gmt":"2012-09-10T03:41:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/darkniciad.com\/blog\/?p=2201"},"modified":"2012-09-09T23:45:19","modified_gmt":"2012-09-10T03:45:19","slug":"upgrade-successful","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/darkniciad.com\/blog\/archives\/2201","title":{"rendered":"Upgrade successful"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Upgraded the sofware that forms the backbone of the website today.\u00a0 Had a hiccup or two, but you wouldn&#8217;t have noticed if you were logged in.\u00a0 It was only affecting guests.<\/p>\n<p>Taken care of now and running smoothly.\u00a0 Didn&#8217;t even have to update the forum skin, despite a major version change.<\/p>\n<p>One other bit of software to upgrade, but it&#8217;s less used and completely unrelated to the public side, so I&#8217;m not in a hurry on that one.\u00a0 I can deal with it whenever.<\/p>\n<p>Got more of my backend utilities for the shorts done today, and coded something I&#8217;m going to add to the backend of &#8220;Latest Updates&#8221; to make that process easier as well.<\/p>\n<p>Still no luck writing this weekend.\u00a0 Just not feeling it.\u00a0 I did backspace part of Lowborn that didn&#8217;t feel right and got started on\u00a0the new direction\u00a0this evening, though.\u00a0 Going to try to get back to that in a few, now that the minor issue with the upgrade is taken care of.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Upgraded the sofware that forms the backbone of the website today.\u00a0 Had a hiccup or two, but you wouldn&#8217;t have noticed if you were logged in.\u00a0 It was only affecting guests.
