Just finished my first cold read of Barren Harvest.\u00a0 Made a few wording changes and added some scenery spice, but I’m otherwise happy with it.<\/p>\n
I’ll do the nuts-n-bolts first pass edit in a little while, then get it off to Roust.\u00a0 Since it’s been a while since I’ve mentioned it, this is the next in the Arts Ardane series, as well as a Halloween story that gives more details about the Harvest Festival in Danica’s world.<\/p>\n
After that, I’m going to get back to Flesh.\u00a0 I’ve been mulling it over, and I might just change it up a little.\u00a0 I hit a snag last night where I was having trouble dealing with how the characters would react — as well as feeling as if the story was dragging.\u00a0 There are a couple of neat scenes that I really like, but I’m having trouble getting them to flow with the overall story.\u00a0 I may just have to scrap them and save them for another tale.<\/p>\n
