Got a little more done on Lowborn tonight.\u00a0 I’ve got a bit of a tricky transition to deal with, and I’m too tired to figure it out *laugh*\u00a0 If it keeps being a pain, I may just skip it for the moment and move on to the next scene in order to not bog down again.<\/p>\n
That might even provide some signposts for the transition.\u00a0 I’m more or less skipping over a lot of dialogue and summing it up in the following scene, to move the story along a little faster.\u00a0 Just need a good place for a scene break that sets up what the conversation is about.<\/p>\n
Peeked at SOTM 17 a bit, and I’m still not sure what’s missing there.\u00a0 I’ll give it a bit, and then look at it again.\u00a0 It’s more or less some important character development, leading into some action, leading into some sex — all of which is going to add some heavy emotional impact to the scenes leading up to the conclusion of this book of Danica’s story.<\/p>\n
It was so much easier writing Danica, when I didn’t know all that I do now, and could just find ways to connect the sex and some interesting locales\/situations *laugh*\u00a0 I think the deeper plot will be worth the effort and time put into it when it finally comes out, though.<\/p>\n
