Working on the site

Just wasn’t in the right frame of mind to write today.  So, I decided to be productive and work on the website.

I’ve decided that I’m going to open up the “About” section without the new pics of me, and with only some of the scans of old stuff I’m planning to put up there.  I can always add all that stuff to the pages as it’s completed and announce it on the Web Updates section.

With that in mind, I completed the text and links to images I have scanned.  I also uploaded the last of my ancient porn stories.  All that’s really left to do now is go through and check everything.  I may decide to experiment with the font size on the ancient stories, though.  If I find something I like in a larger font, I’ll likely add it to the Cut Scenes and Unpublished Stories section of “My Work Extras” as well.

I’m very likely to add a sort of directory page to “Ancient Stories” and “Cut Scenes” for the same reason I added “Show All” to the “My Work” page – allowing search engines to reach all that content that’s behind code they don’t usually try to activate.

Odds are that it will go live either Monday or Tuesday, unless I get a solid writing spark going, or work is a nightmare.

After that, I think I’m going to tackle the LST3K section.  There are some things I’m going to use in there for donations that could be useful for the “My Worlds” section.

At this point, I’m not even sure if the “More” link will remain.  Most of what I was thinking about putting on that section is now sliding nicely into other sections of the site.  I’ll probably just end up removing it, leaving me an opening for another main menu selection at some time in the future.

Things are rolling right along.  With any luck, I’ll have the website content completely restored soon, with easy to use utilities to add more content whenever someone requests it or the whim strikes me.

Thanks to readers and voters

Thanks to the readers and voters on the most recent chapter of SOTM at Lit and SOL.

After the productive weekend last week, I’ve been on the slow side this weekend.  Just haven’t had much of a writing spark.  On top of that, I’ve been dealing with a lot of spam registrations, and did my taxes.

Now that I think I’ve taken care of both of those tasks, maybe I can get something done on the writing side.

Sisters of the Mists Ch. 18 LIVE

Naturally, they wouldn’t post it until long after I left for work :p

You can read it right here at Lit:  http://www.literotica.com/s/sisters-of-the-mists-ch-18

I’ll get it in the queue at SOL as soon as possible.

EDIT:  In the queue at SOL.  Odds are that it won’t post until tomorrow morning.

Also put the final missing chapter of the “A Royal Sacrifice” chain in the queue at Lit.  At present turnaround rate, that should put it out around Monday or Tuesday.

Holding off on submitting ARS 19…

A Royal Sacrifice Ch. 19 is back from editing, but I’m going to likely wait until the weekend ( or at least Friday ) before submitting.

Reason being that I’m starting to see reports of stories posting in 4 days, which may mean that Lit is starting to catch up.  If I’d submit it today, as planned, that would put it coming out on the ultimate kiss of death day – Sunday.

On the other hand, that does mean that it’s possible SOTM 18 could come out some time in the wee hours overnight.

I’ll keep an eye out until I go to bed.  If the chapter posts, I’ll update the website, my sig at Lit, and get it in the queue at SOL as soon as I see it hit.  Likewise, if it posts after I crash and I see it in the morning, I’ll do it then.

ARS 19 Off for editing

A Royal Sacrifice Ch. 19 is off for editing.  One step closer to this chain being complete again 🙂

Odds are that I won’t submit it until at least Wednesday.  Even though this is just a replacement chapter, I can’t bring myself to submit it on a day that I have good reason to believe would put it posting on the weekend.

With the chapter so close to release, I’ve removed the opening of it from the “Lost Work” section.

I have, however, replaced it with another lost work — a full story this time.  If MMF where everyone is involved with each other ( if you get my meaning ) doesn’t creep you out, then check it out on the Lost Work page.

More information about this story, which had a working title of “Secrets Shared”, can be found in the introductory paragraphs before the story starts.
