SOTM Moving

Okay, I finished a couple more scenes on SOTM 11.  It seems to be flowing again, and I’m building up to some pretty good action scenes in the near future.  Magical combat, armies at war, marauding goblins…  Just a few of the things in the near future.  Let’s not forget the demons, either.

Just thought I’d drop a quick line to say that it’s moving, since I didn’t say anything for so long.  Sorry about that.

New Story — Expectation

Well, I finished another story yesterday.  It’s called “Expectation”, and it’s a romantic flavored tale I plan to enter in the Lit Valentines contest.  I have it out right now to some first readers, because I quite frankly don’t trust my own evaluation of my work right now after my long slump.  I like it.  I’m happy with it.  But, I’m going to get some thoughts from a couple of other authors before I do my first pass edit and then get it out to Roust.

The contest starts on the 20th, so it won’t get released until then, at least.  I’ll put it in the queue at Lit as soon as it’s finalized, and then I’ll put it in the queue at SOL as soon as it posts at Lit.

If you haven’t read and voted on the latest VR:DQ at SOL, go do it!  I need a vote or two more for the score to display, which will draw in more readers ~_^  I know a couple of you sent me feedback but didn’t vote.  While that’s perfectly fine, I really could use those votes until the score comes up, pretty please?  *laugh*

I’ll update again after the first readers get back to me.  Anybody else who wants a first read, feel free to drop me a line and I’ll send it out.  You just have to promise to vote for it once it comes out at Lit, where the votes determine the winner of the contest.

Still working on the next LST3K

I’ve been struggling with no-muse issues, and it’s affected this series as well.  On top of that, my hours at work have gone up and my computer has decided to malfunction numerous times.  I’m going to return to the new spoof ASAP, but I’m concentrating on catching up some things I have going in my other storylines first.

The good news is that Flutterbug is back on Lit, and she’s eager to have another crack at an awful story.  I have two other sharp wits on board as well.  This could very well be the best LST3K yet when it finally escapes my computer and charges headlong into the public view.

I’ll update again as soon as it gets to moving.

The Elusive Muse

So much for keeping up, eh?

Sorry, I’ve just been having a tough time with lack of muse, real life, and my computer being a pain in the ass.  I’m hoping I have some things sorted out now.  I’m working on some stories in my other pen name, so my muse is at least returning.  I looked at Ch. 11 of SOTM and ended up deleting half of what I wrote while my muse was packing for her trip to wherever she was going.  I believe I have it pared back to a point I can work from again.  I simply was writing complete crap there for a while, and those who read me deserve better than that.

I’m going to put on the Chrono Cross soundtrack later tonight and open up Ch. 11 to see if I can’t get Danica to speak to me again tonight, and I’ll do my best to update again with more regularity.

Meanwhile, Laresa has earned another gold star with Ch. 24 taking the March Category nomination for Chain stories at Literotica.

Keep your eye on my alternate pen-name for a story or two in the near future.  Hopefully, that’s a harbinger of new work coming out with this one as well.

New VR:DQ in the queue

I think my muse may finally be recovering.  The final chapter of my VR: DQ series is in the can, and in the process of final editing.  I’ll probably post it to SOL later today, and it will go in the queue at Lit shortly thereafter.

Most of what I’ve written since October has been scrapped.  I simply couldn’t write anything but crap for quite some time there, and those who read me deserve better than that.  I still have a follow-up to Kindled in the works, but no idea when it might get out.  I’m working on another potential story for the Literotica Valentine Contest, so cross your fingers.  I’ll try to keep updates coming a little more frequently, but I can’t promise anything with RL and computer issues having kept me away ( along with my absent muse ) for a while now.

I certainly apologize for my absence, and I hope those who read me will come back around once I get back into gear again.

Later in the day:  The new VR:DQ is in the queue at SOL, and I’m in the process of preparing it for Lit right now.
