The next chapter of SOTM is moving, along with a few other stories across both pen names. Hope to be able to report more soon.
Just finished my first pass edit of MP and sent it off to Roust. He’s usually pretty quick on the draw, so I could have it in the queues as early as tomorrow evening. No promises, but it should be soon. It will come up at SOL before Lit, because I haven’t been delaying this series as I do with SOTM to release simultaneously. Lit’s lag time has decreased quite a bit in recent months, though. Shouldn’t take too long for it to clear the queue and hit the New page there either.
Wrote a couple more scenes for SOTM 14 last night, and I’ll probably write a couple more tonight. It seems to be flowing well, and I’m getting ready to hit another part of the plot that’s well established in my head. As soon as I launch into that, I might just be able to keep rolling for a while, and keep fairly regular chapters coming.

Also have the bare bones of an idea for the Lit Winter contest. Just have to see how that goes. It will be another piece of the holiday lore of my world, a bit like Harvest of Blood, Grandfather Yule, and While Cupid’s Away…

Still struggling with time, lack of sleep, and motivation. I did finish the final chapter of Merchant Princess just a few minutes ago, however. I’m going to let it simmer for a day or two, and then work on the edits. In the meantime, I’m jumping back into SOTM while my juices are flowing again for the time being.
I’ll post up when SOTM 14 hits any milestones.
May as well add a couple months more worth of non-updates to the is page *sigh*
They’ve moved my start time at work back 2 1/2 hours, slashing my already limited time to sleep, and thus my time to do anything else, such as write. Top that off with a shoulder injury that’s left me half-crippled every day after work, and you have blank pages.
I’m still trying to wrap up Merchant Princess and the next chapter of SOTM, but I do have a story out in the Lit Halloween Contest as Les Lumens. Please check out The Offering and give it a vote, won’t you?
