Another 500 on Laresa

Almost done with the setup that will get to the heart of the story in the new Laresa Christmas tale.  This one is going to be a little different from the others, because Laresa isn’t going to be the sexual focus of the story.

Mind you, there’s going to be plenty of hot, sweet sex in it, though 😉

Also did a little work on Center Piece, and a lot of musing on Lowborn.  I’m so close to finishing Lowborn I can taste it, but this little section I’m working on is SO critical.

I’m thinking about moving on and writing on the ending, to see if that helps inspire me a little.  If nothing else, it will crank up the word count and help me feel a little better about myself.

I have trouble making myself do that, though.  It’s one of the reasons stories sit completely idle, and then suddenly spring to finished in a short period of time.  I work out a little problem section, and all I have to do is type out the rest of the story, which as been sitting all but complete in my head for ages.

Hoping to get back to working on the Shorts page as well.  I’d like to have that done before Christmas, because there’s a themed story I’d like to add to that page.  It’s a much requested continuation that I don’t feel has enough meat on the bones to post on the story sites, but which I think the readers of the original will enjoy for the pure sexual heat.

Not much really left to do on that from the backend standpoint.  I’ll have to double-check where I left off because it’s been so long.  Should have kept notes somewhere other than in these blog posts 😛

I hate to launch it with only the first of the Devan trilogy, but maybe I can finish a second or that Christmas continuation before I do it.  With a lot of scheduled days off coming up soon, I’m going to have a lot of quiet time to get things done while the young one is off at school.

That is, provided I can manage to convince my body not to use every moment of it to catch up on all the sleep I miss.

From Thanksgiving to after Christmas, I don’t work 5 full days any week.  Just waiting on someone to miss a day or two who has a full week vacation scheduled that week so I can pop a day or two into Christmas week *laugh*  If I can get Monday, I’ll have a five day weekend that covers Christmas and Christmas Eve.

My plan is to take a week of vacation very early ( hopefully the first week ) of January as well.

Enough bloggin’.  Back to writing.

Quarterly track

Thanks to all the readers at Literotica!  Quarterly stat check shows 6928 votes on 669,847 views with 113 public comments, 184 favorites, and an average score of 4.68 across all my pen names in the last three months.

With that out of the way, I’m going to flip through all the stories in progress and see which one is singing to me the loudest.

( So long as my young one doesn’t start shouting my muse down.  He’s been fairly quiet, but that can change in an instant *laugh* )

Center Piece at 1500 too

My Thanksgiving story as Les, “Center Piece” is also at 1500 words.  I have my lead — Autumn — introduced, and have her moved into position for the story to take place.  After a couple more scenes to establish things, I’ll be ready to give her a Thaksgiving she’ll never forget.

My general plan is to put this one on the front burner, releasing it fairly early in the contest.  Then, I’ll release the Laresa story late in the contest, putting both of them as close in proximity to their respective holidays as possible.

Of course, that’s all up to my muse.  I’m letting it run free, as usual.  Fortunately, every time I blink through these two, Lowborn, or SOTM, something is always striking me and I’m writing as of now.  Halloween didn’t give me a spark this year, but the winter holidays seem to be working.

1500 on Laresa

I’m up to fifteen hundred words on the new Laresa Christmas story.  Laresa is introduced ( to anyone who hasn’t read the stories before ) and so are two of the other three important characters.

There’s one scene yet to set something up, and then I introduce my third character.  From there, I need to build up the anticipation, release it in a hot explosion, and top it all off with that sweet ending.

Snowy Brainstorm

I just had a major brainstorm 🙂

I was mulling over something else when the sweetest, most perfect idea for a brand new Laresa story popped into my head.  Bonus:  It’s Christmas themed.

It’s most likely going to immediately follow “Genie Valentine” in the timeline, though like most of the stories early in the Laresa tales, it will be self-contained and can easily be read outside the series.

It’s so perfect I can’t stop grinning.

So, keep your eyes open for “His Christmas Wish” in the Winter Holiday Contest at Literotica!  ( and at SOL not long after )

I’ll most likely hold on to this one until about the 29th of November, so it will be closer to the Christmas season and after Thanksgiving, but still within the contest dates.

In addition, the Thanksgiving story as Les ( “Center Piece” ) is moving.

I also finally have an opening scene that’s making me smile for the next chapter of SOTM.  So much of the next chapter has been written in my head for a while, because it was originally planned for the last chapter I released.  It was just getting an opening scene and a few other things that were holding me back.

I’m also mulling over Lowborn, trying to get this final, critical scene to work the way I want it to.  Some previous brainstorms that I’ve mentioned have pushed me closer, but there’s still just some critical interaction that I have to get exactly right to make the whole story come together.

I was right in the last post.  I do have some momentum going again 🙂  My muse, at the very least, is on duty and whispering in my ear regularly.
