Yep, my original concept of Sanctuary altered. I do that a lot *laugh* I ended up nuking about 400 words ( a scene and a start of another ) in order to improve the flow of the story. The bonus is that it ties in better with the Nude Day theme.
This one is Xannera’s story. I’m still planning to tell Mara’s story for Summer Lovin’. I’m introducing a new character in this one who will be quite important for a future story that I’ve known I would tell for quite some time. Odds are that the second part of that equation will pop up in Whispers ( the summer story )
Once I have those two puzzle pieces in place, I can tell that tale whenever I wish. Odds are that I’ll get around to telling Glen’s story first, though.
Sanctuary is going to start expanding the mythology of the “wood” universe, too.
Now, to try to get a bit of those replacement scenes written before I have to crash out. I’m off on Friday again, and not exhausted from long hours this time, so maybe I’ll have better luck getting some writing done. I’m off the following Thursday as well, but the young one will be home that day.
