Only a couple of days until Expectation goes live at Lit. Keep your eyes open for it and give it a vote =)
Virtual Reality: Dragon Quest is out at Lit. Go give it a vote!
Had a major flash of inspiration, and I had to let it run wild. I’ve had far too few visits from my muse of late, and I wasn’t about to argue with her when she started singing. This will be an entry in the Lit Valentine’s contest, which starts on the 20th. It will have at least a 24 hour exclusive there, so that I can garner as many votes as possible before I release it anywhere else. I know some will only read on SOL, but if you’re willing to take advantage of the early release and leave me a vote, it would be much appreciated. The votes determine the winners in the contest.
The story is set in my fantasy world, but there aren’t any characters you’ll recognize from my other stories.
Expectation should be ready for the 20th launch of the Lit Valentine’s contest. It will have at least a 24 hour exclusive there, because I want to garner as many votes as possible before releasing it anywhere else. I know some will only read on SOL, but anyone willing to take advantage of the earlier release and drop me a vote would be much appreciated. It would be a kick to actually win one of these once ( though I seriously don’t anticipate it *laugh* )
Okay, I finished a couple more scenes on SOTM 11. It seems to be flowing again, and I’m building up to some pretty good action scenes in the near future. Magical combat, armies at war, marauding goblins… Just a few of the things in the near future. Let’s not forget the demons, either.
Just thought I’d drop a quick line to say that it’s moving, since I didn’t say anything for so long. Sorry about that.
Well, I finished another story yesterday. It’s called “Expectation”, and it’s a romantic flavored tale I plan to enter in the Lit Valentines contest. I have it out right now to some first readers, because I quite frankly don’t trust my own evaluation of my work right now after my long slump. I like it. I’m happy with it. But, I’m going to get some thoughts from a couple of other authors before I do my first pass edit and then get it out to Roust.
The contest starts on the 20th, so it won’t get released until then, at least. I’ll put it in the queue at Lit as soon as it’s finalized, and then I’ll put it in the queue at SOL as soon as it posts at Lit.
If you haven’t read and voted on the latest VR:DQ at SOL, go do it! I need a vote or two more for the score to display, which will draw in more readers ~_^ I know a couple of you sent me feedback but didn’t vote. While that’s perfectly fine, I really could use those votes until the score comes up, pretty please? *laugh*
I’ll update again after the first readers get back to me. Anybody else who wants a first read, feel free to drop me a line and I’ll send it out. You just have to promise to vote for it once it comes out at Lit, where the votes determine the winner of the contest.
