Alicia Live at Storiesonline

Alicia is out at storiesonline, go vote!  A few more days until the Lit debut.  Still chuggin’ away on Danica 20.

Just got back a thorough commentary on my Halloween piece, and so I’m going to be reworking it a bit based on those suggestions.  Very detailed, many thanks RL!

Just waiting on the preceding author to finish so I can get my Laresa chain chapter finished and off to Roust.  It will probably go up here, and at S.O., a little bit before it goes live at Lit, so keep it under your hat if you see it!  Special preview for those who check the website or read me at S.O.

Finished updating all the short stories with the new whimsical borders.  I’ll go in and put in some better links soon so that the “back” buttons click back closer to the point of origin from the stories next.

Queen Alicia in the queue

Danica 20 continues apace, fear not!

The main purpose of this update, however, is to announce that Queen Alicia is now live on the Short Stories page.  You’ll probably notice some changes to that page, and a new format for the stories themselves if you look at Alicia, Danica Prelude, or Blackhawk Hall.  Blackhawk has also *finally* been transformed over to webpages.  I’ll continue to get all the stories in line with the new format soon.

Alicia has been sent out to both Lit and Storiesonline.  S.O. will have it up in short order, and it should be live at Lit in about a week.  If you read it here, go vote when it comes out on Lit and Storiesonline!

Joining Laresa’s World Chain

Last month’s news moved to the cache.

My brain has been a logjam, and so Danica 20 has been moving a little slow.  It’s moving forward, just not at light speed.

To help clear up brain space, I’ve been clearing out some backlog ideas that are cluttering up the works.  The first is a possible Halloween story I’ve mentioned, now retitled “Blood Harvest” because there is already a story called “Blood Bond” on Lit.  It is about 3/4 done, and I should have it finished soon.

The second is a part of a chain story, started by RedHairedAndFriendly, about a genie that bounces through space and time to different masters.  I’ve actually finished this short chapter of the story, only needing the authors of the previous chapters to get theirs finished so I can tweak mine a little and lead-in from the preceding chapter.  Mine is set in the late 1800’s in Kansas.

The third story is a short sequel to King Thakkorias, told from Alicia’s perspective this time.  I only have a little of it written, but it is pretty much set in stone in my head.

Once I’ve finished clearing the plate a bit, I think I’m ready to launch into the final chapter of Book I full force.  I’ve had time to mull it over at work now, with all these other ideas going somewhere and thus not clogging my brain, so it should proceed rapidly.

Figured I’d drop the heads up in here.  As soon as Danica reaches a reportable progress level, it will appear right here, so stay tuned!

LST3K Ep. 02 In the Queue

LST3K- Small Town Screw just went into the approval queue at Literotica.  As soon as it goes live, I’ll post up a direct link right here.  I’ll go through and add it to all the appropriate sections of the site as well.

I also submitted an edit for the original LST3K, adding a link to Sean’s submission page.  It’s the least I can do since he was such a good sport about being the first victim!

Check out the donation and join the team links on the main page, get on board people!  We need more stories and more people with evil streaks to make fun of them =)

Thanks again to FallingToFly for contributing to the 2nd LST3K!

Later in the day update: http://www.rifftrax.com/ MST3K may be gone, but the laughter lives on!  Support Mike Nelson and buy up some riff trax!  If you’re of a mind to hear Star Trek V ripped to shreds, you get Kevin Murphy too!

MP3 downloads have cues letting you know when to start the movie, and you get the commentary through the player while the movie runs.  Now they can riff on *anything* they want, because they don’t actually have to have movie rights to pull this off.

Let’s hope Mike can persuade Trace, Frank, Joel, and some of the others to lend their talents to this new venture!

Sister’s Shadow Live

Sister’s Shadow, the third Arts Ardane tale, is out at Storiesonline.  Go check it out!  This tale will be exclusive to there, and I won’t be posting it on Lit.  If you have any trouble finding it in the New Stories list, just use the S.O. link on the main page to get to my author page.
