F’N Work!

Old news sent off to the cache

Okay, I’ve been having a nightmare at work.  Long hours, and they’re trying to railroad me on my FMLA reduced work schedule, writing me up on attendance in the process.  Needless to say, it has been killing my muse dealing with them.  The DOL is involved now, on my side, and making me feel a little better, but starting back to work tomorrow may be a muse killer again.  It’s not over just yet.

Danica 19 is about half done.  Half of what is done was written yesterday, and more will go down today.  Likewise, I’ll probably write more of “Sister’s Shadow”, the next Arts Ardane, today as well.  That story will be a storiesonline exclusive.

I have a new reader going through and pointing out *numerous* errors in the older chapters of Danica.  I’m going through making the corrections as they are found, glad to have another set of eyes catching all those bugger ups.  I’ll start submitting them to Lit eventually.

Apologies for the lack of news, for those waiting, but I didn’t even have the mental capacity to do this, let alone write, for the last week or so.

Lots of stuff off for editing

I’ve had a very productive weekend.

My Halloween story is done.  “Harvest of Blood” ( title change again ) is in the hands of a couple of people for first reads.  I’ll see what they think, and then proceed from there.  Even if it doesn’t get entered for Halloween, it will certainly get posted as Erotic Horror.

“Laresa’s World – Outlaw’s Redemption” is back from editing.  All I need is the preceding chapters to get in my hands so I can tweak it a little based upon those chapters.

“Queen Alicia” is finished, and now in the hands of Roust for slicing and dicing.

So, with all those backlogged ideas out of my head:

I do vouchsafe that I, being the mightiest knight on life, shall take immediately to horse and ride forth into the face of a quest that surely would cause a lesser man to quaver as though striken with cruel eld, turning and fleeing as if a beaten cur, there to fulfill the destiny that hath been lain upon mine broad shoulders.

In other words, I’m going to be writing full-tilt on Danica 20 in just a few minutes 😉
