I’ve heard back from l8bloom and scriptodelecto. The both need a couple of weeks to clear their plates, but they’re ready, willing, and able. I’m still hoping that FTF gets my smoke signals and jumps on board too.

First draft of next LST3K done!
The first draft of Ep. 07 is complete! I’m contacting the three others who’ve said they would be interested in jumping into this spoof. Once I see who can commit, I’ll be back with the info. Once they’ve completed their first draft, I’ll report back again as I edit it down and send it back out again for another round of riffing. We’ll just keep at it until we almost hurt ourselves laughing.
Speaking of which, updated the Spoofs page with some of the comments the episodes have picked up. Some of these are just as funny to me as the episodes.
Still working on the next LST3K
I’ve been struggling with no-muse issues, and it’s affected this series as well. On top of that, my hours at work have gone up and my computer has decided to malfunction numerous times. I’m going to return to the new spoof ASAP, but I’m concentrating on catching up some things I have going in my other storylines first.
The good news is that Flutterbug is back on Lit, and she’s eager to have another crack at an awful story. I have two other sharp wits on board as well. This could very well be the best LST3K yet when it finally escapes my computer and charges headlong into the public view.
I’ll update again as soon as it gets to moving.
Beware the Fandom Menace
New spoof in the works! I picked up a reeking bit of obvious Star Wars fanfiction, altered sufficiently to prevent Lucas from breathing down the author’s neck, even though he never actually posted it *laugh*
I originally thought I’d title this one “Abuse the Farce!” Now, I’m leaning toward “The Fandom Menace” That seems more appropriate, and it fits in well with the episode tag lines of the LST3K series =)
If you’re new to the series, jump to Episode 3 and give it a read! Lit sweeps keep sucking up all the votes on that one ( over 20 gone into the ether so far ) and it’s sitting at 9 votes. Read it and vote so it can finally regain the H it has lost at least four times in sweeps so far =P Maybe the Lit sweeper will even get the 1 bomb that dropped Ep. 05 below the 4.5 barrier and cost it an H.
LST3K The Naked Dumb Live!
Yep, I’m still working on that big project of flutterbugs. I’m just having a hella time finding the theme – the running gag that these need to really click. I do have some help now, though. Scripto’s quips are inspiring more of my own, and this thing may just get off the ground yet! In the meantime, I’ve dredged up another quickie from the bottom of the garbage heap for Nude Day at Lit.
