I was having a bit of a logjam in my head on the fantasy story I was writing, so that cheat story I mentioned earlier is underway. I have the setup written, and I’m about to hit the first conflict of the story, setting up the cheating. I’ll probably be writing it side-by-side with the new fantasy story, whichever is striking my fancy at any given time.

Well, I didn’t get much response with the spoof series at SOL ( Thanks to those of you who did respond, much appreciated! ) so I’m pretty much going to let it go there with just the one. When I posted the first one at Lit, it went over big time, with all sorts of donated stories and offers to help riff right from the get-go. Since it’s not doing much over at SOL, I’m not going to bother converting the other two Eps over.
The next thing I post under this name will probably be a Loving Wives (cheat for those of you at SOL) story that has been nagging at me for a while. I’m not sure when I’ll start on it, because my fantasy work has priority, and at least three stories there are crystal clear and demanding time in my head.
I may still write another story continuing “Finding Karen”. There were a lot of ideas that didn’t get into that story, and they may see the light of day in another story, or even possibly a series. It all depends upon how any further stories about Ken and Karen go over. Many thanks for all the kind responses to this story, across two websites where I’ve picked up enormous amounts of mail, and strong vote totals =)

I’ve added cover images to several stories on my short stories and my work pages, the final chapter of Arilee is posted on the website, and I did a few other updates and revisions.
I haven’t slept much the last few days, so the new Laresa is moving slowly, and that’s the only thing moving at all at the moment.
I opened up the website for my alternate pen name, Leslumens as well.
I’ll try to get back in gear tonight, but for right now, I’m taking a break. I just spent hours updating the website one file at a time through a web interface since I still can’t FTP in =P

Okay, my contest stories are live. I’ll put a disclaimer right here, one I’ll be adding to all such stories from now on, I suppose. These tales are romantic/sweet in nature, not action. So if that isn’t your thing…

Contest stories need 25 votes to qualify, and sweeps frequently eat up lots of votes. I lost more votes in sweeps last contest than stuck last time. So if you like this type of story, give them a read and a vote =)
Thanks to the one anonymous person who commented on Ari, at least I have a clue now. That’s the reason for romance disclaimers from now on. I like writing these stories, so they’ll happen now and again. The final chapter is where all the action is in Ari, so maybe those who have been blah about the story thusfar will like the ending more. It’s also going to set up the sequel to Blackhawk. You’ll see when it comes out 😉
