Went through and backspaced a bit of Blessing. I was thinking that the introduction of my male protagonist was just a bit too quick. Had a flash of inspiration today and backspaced the intro, putting in a bit of action that should provide better flow, and give me a better intro.
After the backspacing, I’m back at about 1500 words again. Looking to work a bit more on the intro tonight, and hopefully naming the guy *laugh*
Worked on Blessing and two stories in my third name today. I’m starting to get past the block that keeps me away from the word processor. If this child of mine would cooperate by getting on a regular schedule, it would probably be going faster *laugh*
Getting there, though. I spend most of my day at work in muse mode, which is usually a good indicator. The characters are talking, and I’m listening 🙂
A little over a thousand words into Blessing. I have Dara introduced, though I need to figure out somewhere to work in a couple of lines of important back story/motivation. Dropped my male protagonist in, but I’m still trying to figure out his name *laugh*
Mused a lot on SOTM today. Working my way through that transition.
