When I finished the first section of that new Alicia tale, I found a perfect place to split it into about 7k word chapters. I’m going to proceed with that in mind, so this one will probably release in 4-6 chapters. The first chapter is off for editing, and I’m doing some polish on the second chapter.
SOTM is really starting to move now. I’ve written two or three scenes since last night, and I’m moving right along. Here’s to hoping I keep that up, so I can release it soon.

I’ve written quite a bit more on that Alicia story, and I do believe it’s actually going to turn into a two or three part story with chapters as long as Ebon Genesis or a chapter of Danica, now. This one’s gonna be a biggun. Because of the length of the chapters, I’ll probably leave a few days between each chapter posting, though it will be complete before I post the first chapter.
I wrote a little more on SOTM, and it’s getting a little bit easier. I’m starting to get excited to tell the next part of the story, and that’s helping overwhelm the pain associated with writing Danica.
I’m slowly, but surely, re-editing Blackhawk Hall as well. That’s the first step in launching the sequel to the story, which has been slowly bubbling in the back of my head ever since I finished Blackhawk.
I have the plot bunnies hopping around for the next Arts Ardane ( Danica centered ) as well.

That Alicia story is still rolling. This is going to be a long one, probably on a par with Ebon Genesis or a chapter of Book I of Danica. SOTM Ch. 13 is also moving, though still a little slow. I’m getting to where I can handle it a little better, so I hope to get it moving and end the delays. Apologies for that — again.

This is a sequel to Steward of the Wood, which was my Earth Day story last year, but Daughter of the Wood can stand alone, without reading the previous tale. I think you’ll like Steward too, though.

On this front: Alicia is moving along well, and it may very well be the next thing I put out as Dark. Still moving along on SOTM 13.

I’m still not in the best state, but I’m back to writing. I’ve put out a story or two under my other pen name, and I have an LST3K still in the works. I’m staying fairly quiet about what I’m going through, not because I don’t want anyone to know, but simply because I don’t want to make a big deal out of it and look like I’m trolling for sympathy for the sake of my writing. There’s been a lot of that sort of accusation going around at Lit lately, and I’m in no frame of mind to deal with it.

Now to my fantasy world. I’m working on a new Alicia story right now, delving into her history. I’m still working on the title, but I know that “Merchant Princess” is in there somewhere.
I’ve also managed to put “pen to paper” on the next chapter of SOTM. Suffice to say, this is going to be extremely hard for me. Working on this story stabs directly into the heart of my grief. I’m committed to completing Danica’s tale, however. I will finish the story. I hope everyone can understand if it takes a while. I apologize for the delays already, and any that will probably occur in the future.
