Danica Pt. 16 is live!  Go vote!

Danica 17 is about half done, and I’m writing as we speak, so probably by the weekend at most it will be done, then about another week for approval at Lit.

I see a lot of hourly returns and reloads in my website stats, so I’m guessing one or more people are anxiously awaiting news on the next chapter of Danica.  It’s almost done, and then I’ll do my first pass edit, spell check, and final read before submitting it.  I’ll post here the moment I submit it to Lit, so you’ll know that within a week of the posting it will go live.

I’ve been told by almost everyone who has read Ebon that the warnings were almost too strong in the Author’s Notes when viewed in light of the story, so if you were scared away by those disclaimers you might give it a read after all.  You can always run away if it triggers your creepy-o-meter or skim past anything that’s making you cringe 😉

Both new drafts of Danica 01 and 02 are up on Lit, so that should bring in some new readers with all the quirks removed from the beginning of the tale.  I’ll start editing 03 soon as well.

Blackhawk Hall Ch. 05 is live!  Go vote!

The edited version of Danica 02 has been sent to the editors at Lit.  There was a *lot* of cleanup to do on this chapter, geesh.  I think it will read a lot better and keep readers involved in the story better in the new draft.

I’ve been writing on Danica 17, so with a little luck you will not have to wait too long after 16 for the next chapter.  I also have my challenge word for Blackhawk 06, so that will be taking off soon as well.

I’m in the process of doing my first pass edit to Ebon now, bringing the setting to life and correcting a few little things I think need to be in there now that I’ve read it through once.  Blackhawk 06 is pretty much ready to go in my head, just have to wait for my challenge word 😉
