Back to writing Danica 18.

Considering the number of editor views, and the time since the submission, I’m willing to bet that Blackhawk goes live tonight.  Danica 18 is now half done, and moving along quickly.  It may be almost done before the night is over.  If not, it will certainly be near completion before the weekend is over.  Most likely will be submitted early next week, at the latest.

Just keeping everyone up to date, and thanks to everyone who likes the story enough to anticipate the new chapters, I really appreciate your reading my work, the votes, and all the kind words.

The edited version of Danica 03 is live at Lit, as is Thakkor.  The final chapter of Blackhawk should go live before long.  I’m probably going to edit Ebon next, toning down the disclaimers a bit and removing the obvious references to Zoraster, as suggested by those who have read it.

I had a couple of days where I wasn’t getting much sleep, so I haven’t been able to write until this morning.  Danica 18 is only about a quarter of the way done, but it’s moving right along now.  This one is setting up the endgame, for sure.  I’m estimating twenty chapters in total for Book I.

So there’s the progress report, sorry for the delay to those awaiting the next chapter of Danica, I’m going to put pen to paper right now 😉

The final chapter of Blackhawk Hall is live here on the website, on the Short Stories page, and has been submitted to Lit.  Be sure to go to Lit and vote if you read it here.  Hope everyone has enjoyed this one =)

I also have a short tale kicking in my head that meshes up with the Nude Day contest, so I might just entertain entering that to scare up some new readers.  Considering the amount of sheer ability that is put forth in contests, I hold no illusions about winning, but I’ll take the exposure none the less =)

There are a couple of scenes I need to get ordered in my head for Danica 18, and that is why it is delayed a bit.  All this other stuff is screaming in my head, and until I release it, I can’t concentrate enough to congeal the scenes for D18.  Except for those scenes, which are critical to the building culmination of the story, it is all written in my head and a good chunk of it is already on “paper”.

Apologies to everyone eagerly awaiting new chapters of Danica, but I just don’t want to release something I’m not happy with.

Again, speaking of happy with my work, the updated version of Thakkor has been submitted to Lit as well.

Danica 18 is still underway, but I’ve paused a bit to mull over an important scene.  I don’t want to rush the chapter out and have something I’m not happy with out there.  In the meantime, I’m getting Blackhawk 06 together, and it will probably be submitted to Lit this weekend, also going live here on the website at the same time.

Along the lines of being happy with what is posted, I just submitted the edited version of Danica 03.  I’m probably going to edit at least the first six chapters, perhaps more.  I also plan to edit Home and Thakkor at some point.  I know I have one typo *somewhere* in Home that I caught the first day it was live on Lit, but haven’t been able to find since.  Thakkor just needs the same sort of cleanup treatment I’ve been giving the early chapters of Danica.

Back to Blackhawk.  The quicker I get that done, the more space I’ll have in my brain for musing over Danica 18 =)
