Blackhawk 3 is complete, and available here on the Short Stories page.  It is submitted to Lit as well, so make sure you go vote on it there.  Danica 8 went live, so head on over and give it a read.  I just finished with a final edit of Danica 9, and it will be submitted later on today.  I really like the section of the tale in parts 9 and 10, and I hope everybody else likes it as much as I do.

There was apparantly a score sweep at Lit this morning.  The good news is, several of my stories which had been trolled have leapt back up into the toplists, thus hopefully giving new readers a chance to see my work and be interested.  The bad news is that a couple of stories dropped in rating a bit, and Ardane dropped out of the H range, along with Blackhawk 2.  Right back to the good news, before I could upload this, both BH2 and Ardane regained their H’s, so all worked out damn fine.

That idea I had for another Ardane is almost completely gelled now, I have the perfect hook in one of my favorite types of character from my old game world.  It’s going to be new twist on that character type which I think will be interesting.  The previous Ardane already revealed one of the incidents that hardened Devan’s heart, and this one will demonstrate even more how she came to be who she is in the core tale.

I’m attempting to locate a subscription service or something to build a mailing list so I can inform people of when new stories are available if they wish to opt in.  If I had anywhere I could use PHP, I’d just write the thing myself.  Unfortunaely, I’m not that lucky at the moment.  Let me know if you’re interested and I can do a low tech version of a mailing list until I find something more sophisticated with automatic opt in-out.

Blackhawk one and two are both live at Lit.  Chapter one went Red H in one day!  Woot!  Prelude and Ardane also both reached H status over the last twenty-four hours.  Blackhawk 2 is already up to five votes, and I seriously doubt half the people who got feedback replies noting the next chapter was up have had chance to read it yet, so it might just Red H today as well.  Only poor lonely part 4 is sitting two shy of its H LOL  It looks like the activity is bringing up my vote total on some other stories as well.  Perhaps I’m expanding my group of regular readers, which brings a smile to my face.

I just finished the opening scenes of Part 16 of Danica, in which two critical elements of the final confrontation come to light.  The revelations and buildup are coming fast and furious now as book one draws near to its conclusion.  I’m mulling over how the next scene in Blackhawk 03 will play out, and have an idea for the next Ardane that is still gellin’.

Big thanks to everyone who has been sending me floods of feedback lately.  I’m on vacation, so anybody who has sent me feedback and has stories posted on Lit will be getting a read and feedback on everything I can manage to handle this week.  It’s hardly a task, because there are some great writers sending me comments 😉
