Wow.

I had no idea the effect Thakkor was going to have on my stories when I submitted it to Lit.  It was just a lark, feeling a little different one weekend and writing something outside the immediate story of Danica.

Wow.

Over the last few hours, I’ve watched King Thakkorias hit the “H” catagory, and climb rapidly.  The first time I looked, it was ranked 52.  Now, only a few hours later, I just hit 20.  Hitting the link again to reach the forum and get proper spelling for the names in the next paragraph, I just picked up another 5 vote in the last minute or so.

I’ve really got to thank Penelope Street and sensorotika for their feedback on Danica Pt. 01, because it’s their feedback more than anything else which resulted in changes to my writing in Thakkor.

Thakkor’s leap seems to be taking Danica with it for the ride.  My votes are increasing even on Part 01, which has jumped from low vote oblivion up into the point where it’s close to breaking the top 400.  It’s pulled Part 03 up to “H” and Part 02 is hovering near the border now as well, with 8 straight 5’s.

I’ve got another story idea with another character who actually makes a brief appearance in about Part 09 of Danica.  I think he’s really interesting and he happens to have a sexy wife who’s even naughtier than Alicia.  I’m probably going to write “Duke Cerebus” at some point, utilizing a few more things I’ve learned, and see where my old pal Mindblind might take me next.
